Special Projects Manager- Amberley, Australia – for Boeing

Boeing Defence Australia are recruiting for the position of Special Projects Manager located at our Amberley office.

Reporting to the Change Manager for the Air Combat and Electronic Attack Sustainment Program (ACEASP), the Special Projects Manager is responsible for leading the Special Projects Team in developing business cases, proposals and executing special change projects to support a broad range of changes across the ACEASP.

Responsibilities will include:

Lead the Special Projects Team and direct all phases of assigned new business projects in accordance with the approved plans
Support the Change Manager and the Platform & Training Services (P&TS) team with business integration and organic business growth initiatives across the P&TS portfolio
Develop complex plans and approaches to allow planning for execution of organic business growth projects involving multiple interdependencies using Boeing Program Management Best Practices
Deliver business growth products and plans on time, on cost, with first time quality to achieve a high level of customer loyalty and shareholder value

To be successful you will have:

Formal qualifications in Project Management that meets minimum requirements of Australian Qualifications Framework Level 5
Demonstrated track record of successful execution of large and complex projects, preferably within a Defence-related program
Business development experience, including development of proposals and managing organic growth within projects
